FACULTY ADVISORS FOR ENG 477 "PRINCIPLES OF VIRTUAL REALITY"

The course Eng 477 "Principles of Virtual Reality" is being offered again
during Fall Term 2003 in the Media Union 3D Lab. As in the past, faculty
from all schools and colleges are invited to become involved in this course
as advisors for the student's group projects.

Details about the role of faculty advisors, the course, and past group
projects can be found on the Web at

http://www-VRL.umich.edu/Eng477/advisors.html

If you are interested in becoming a faculty advisor for Eng 477 during Fall
'03 (no prerequisites!), please e-mail the following information to
beier@umich.edu:

* Name, title, school, and department
* e-mail address and phone number
* Optional: Virtual reality applications you are interested in (a few
keywords only).

We will publish this information on the course Web site so students can
contact you.

There will be an informal meeting for faculty advisors (mainly to answer
questions) on Tuesday, September 16, from 6:15 to 6:45 pm in #1504 GGBL
(Lee Iacocca Lecture Hall, North Campus) right after the lecture. Feel free
to attend the preceding lecture (starting at 4:30 pm) on the topic 'VR
Applications & Application Development'.

Please pass this message on to other interested members of the UofM
community. My apologies if you receive this message multiple times.

Thanks for your interest,
Peter Beier
